Business Development
· Participated in Major Gas Plant Expansion ($175 M) Feasibility Study
· Initiated CO 2 Capture Project, then worked with the Team for successful completion. Captured 160 tons per day of CO 2 and 180 lbs. of Sulphur. Won National Energy Efficiency Award (2005) from Natural Resources Canada.
· Participated as my employer's sole representative on the Helium Extraction project feasibility study with two major multinational companies.
· Was co-lead with Daniel Stinger of WOW Energy on a feasibility study on waste heat recovery from Gas Turbines and a major Gas liquids expansion Facility.
Crisis Management
· Waste Water containing toxins was released to the watershed. Participated with the Initial Response team as sole contact with Alberta Environment. Later, I assembled a team and we worked to discover the toxin and a permanent solution. This led to me being listed as first author on a paper presented at an international wastewater conference in New Zealand.
· Was the lead on a project to model how the toxin was created. The modelling was successful and led to a permanent solution for the future.
· 22 truckloads of propane left the facility, not intended for public use. I was responsible for developing a response and assembling a team to address the situation. The project ended successfully.
